Here's one of three different deviations that represents Chapter 5 of SYFYNUT(syfynut.deviantart.com/) and jazz316(jazz316.deviantart.com/)'s The Adventures of Ariel and Mowgli!
A week has passed since Rikki decided to live with Ariel and Mowgli, Mowgli is still going through with his lessons while Ariel and Rikki watch as the little man-cub improves day by day. Soon after, Bagheera the panther shows up near their part of the jungle searching for Mowgli. Feeling bad for leaving him alone and abandoned, the panther had been searching for Mowgli but to no avail. After Ariel instructed Mowgli to look for Tiger-lilies, he goes looking for him not far away from the grotto up until Bagheera stumbles upon him. The two soon happily reunite, but it soon turns to frustration as the two argue over Mowgli going back to the Man-Village. Ariel and Rikki soon hear Mowgli's cries for help and try to fend the stern panther off. Mowgli soon defends Bagheera by saying he was the one who found him as a baby. Remembering what Mowgli told her about Bagheera, Ariel soon berates the panther for leaving the poor boy all alone in the jungle. Because of this, Mowgli almost became a python's dinner and a naga's boyfriend. Hearing this, Bagheera soon feels ashamed not realizing the danger he put Mowgli through, but he soon tells the two that now they can travel to the Man-Village together to be safe from Shere Khan. The two refuse while Ariel tells the panther of the lessons she is teaching to Mowgli. Bagheera rolls his eyes at this, but he soon agrees to see these lessons that the jungle siblings take part in to survive.
